Aluminum Production Welder

We currently have openings on our team for aluminum production welders. We are looking for good people with a team attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you want to be a part of the team that is producing the industry’s finest welded aluminum docks, boat lifts, and accessories, we’d love to hear from you.

About this Position:

You will be welding a variety of aluminum parts and assemblies for ShoreMaster’s premium aluminum docks, boat lifts, and accessories while using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment. Safety is always #1 and ShoreMaster leads the way when it comes to workplace safety. Your office will be your welding bay, your great work will not go unnoticed, you will have the opportunity to cross-train if you choose, and, you will be an integral part of ShoreMaster’s company-wide culture of process improvement. With a 4 day, 40-hour work week, you get Friday’s off to relax and unwind, and there is the potential for overtime as well – so you get the best of both worlds!

You will be responsible for:

  • Safely welding aluminum parts and assemblies using both gas and arc welding processes
  • Quality control
  • Organization of your work area
  • Contributing to continuous improvement including following safety procedures and rules, and making safety suggestions, and working with team members to improve processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

Must be able or willing to:

  • Contribute to process improvements
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Operate MIG and TIG welder
  • Read and use a tape measure, read prints, read work orders
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Operate a forklift

Machine Operator | Plastic Fabrication Plant | Evening Shift

We currently have openings in our plastic fabrication plant for a machine operator. We are looking for good people with a team attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you want to be a part of the team that is producing the industry’s finest welded aluminum docks, boat lifts, and accessories, we’d love to hear from you. For our evening shift the hours are 4:00 pm – 2:00 AM at our plastic fabrication plant.

About this Position:

The machine operator puts the parts together so they are complete and ready to be shipped out. Safety is always #1 and ShoreMaster leads the way when it comes to workplace safety. You will have the opportunity to cross-train and be an integral part of ShoreMaster’s company-wide culture of process improvement. With a 4 day, 40-hour work week, you get Friday’s off to relax and unwind, and there is the potential for overtime as well – so you get the best of both worlds!

You will be responsible for:

  • Reach/maintain all cycle goals as set up on the machine
  • Inspect machines according to check-list provided
  • Use of elevated platform to perform work (on 430 machine)
  • Ensure pre-measured accurate powder is being used for correct mold
  • Demold product
  • Inspect molds for any repairs needed
  • Quality control
  • Work Flow
  • Keeping Shop clean
  • Strictly follow safety policies, procedures, rules and safe work methods, along with making safety suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety
  • Contributing to continuous improvement including following safety procedures and rules, and making safety suggestions, and working with team members to improve processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

Must be able or willing to:

  • Safely use power tools and basic hand tools
  • Achieve or become forklift certified
  • Counting / Inventorying or parts and assemblies
  • Read and use a tape measure, read prints, read work orders
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Manual labor requiring significant physical exertion and consistent need to lift, pull, push, carry over 75 lbs

About this Position:

The secondary labor puts the parts together so they are complete and ready to be shipped out. Safety is always #1 and ShoreMaster leads the way when it comes to workplace safety. You will have the opportunity to cross-train and be an integral part of ShoreMaster’s company-wide culture of process improvement. With a 4 day, 40-hour work week, you get Friday’s off to relax and unwind, and there is the potential for overtime as well – so you get the best of both worlds!

You will be responsible for:

  • Reach/maintain all cycle goals as set up on the machine
  • Inspect machines according to check-list provided
  • Use of elevated platform to perform work (on 430 machine)
  • Ensure pre-measured accurate powder is being used for correct mold
  • Quality control
  • Work Flow
  • You are provided with a checklist to inspect the kettles, blower and router
  • Responsible for the filling, probing, spin welding of the floats
  • Check sides and ends
  • Inspect the product for any possible defects and to ensure the beads are cured
  • Keeping Shop clean
  • Strictly follow safety policies, procedures, rules and safe work methods, along with making safety suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety
  • Contributing to continuous improvement including following safety procedures and rules, and making safety suggestions, and working with team members to improve processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

Must be able or willing to:

Software Developer I

About this Position:

Will work under the guidance of a Senior Developer or IT Director

Will be responsible for:

  • Coding and testing all assigned enhancements and new applications
  • Working with staff and other development staff on projects
  • Responsible for accurate support of production applications

Skills & Qualifications:

Must have Experience with:

  • Relational databases
  • Integrated Development Environment (IDE) including source code editor, complier, build tools and debuggers
  • Testing methodologies and tools
  • Service Oriented Architecture Concepts
  • Application of multiple software development life cycle frameworks to projects
  • Object oriented programming and design experience

Must have:

  • Technical knowledge of programming languages, operating systems and system utilities
  • Knowledge of appropriate programming languages or third party products as assigned to support the domain
  • Trouble-shooting and problem solving skills
  • Analytical and design skills
  • Strong written/oral communication skills
  • Teamwork and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Documentation and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field
