Floating Dock Houses Many Luxuries For Resort Guests |
| Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa, located on the southern shore of Lake Ouachita, has just added a building and floating platform to the marina that will be an extreme luxury for many of the guests staying there. Mr. Bill Barnes, owner of Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa, had a vision to build a store that had every possible convenience for his patrons, and he recently fulfilled that vision. The building is a 50’ x 80’, 4000 square foot store built upon a 70’ x 112’ floating platform built and installed by Shoremaster Inc.’s Galvafoam Division. This store houses many luxuries. Guests can take advantage of the store by buying any groceries they need, purchases of any camping equipment, or supplies for their boats. Marina offices are located inside the building as well. Another innovative addition is the floating Subway sandwich shop, which is the only one of its kind in existence. Patron’s have the convenience of eating inside in a heated and cooled environment or taking the lunch out to the beautiful 1000 square foot patio. The boating headquarters for Lake Ouachita is located there as well.There is a fireplace in the building as well that happens to be located next to a big screen television. “A perfect place to watch football in the winter.” Adds Mr. Bill Barnes. “The new store and reconfiguration has been a dream of mine for years, but I wanted to do it all at once. We are very proud of our store and what is has to offer. Our guest can enjoy everything from our lovely patio to our very nice handicap bathrooms. We are very pleased with everything.” Says owner, Mr. Bill Barnes. Fergus Falls, MN based Shoremaster operates four plants nationwide. They manufacture and installs floating commercial and residential docks as well as a wide array of floating and standing boat lifts and waterfront recreation equipment. |
